Northeast Indiana Connector Project
A region wide search for Northeast Indiana Connectors who have the ability to create & influence change was conducted in the Spring of 2011.
Northeast Indiana Connectors are individuals who cross social and economic boundaries and are willing to connect other individuals for the benefit of our community now and in the future. NEI connectors know people who know people and they are willing to help connect, refer and be used as touchstones in organizations, businesses and communities. Our goal in this first group was to identify and recognize 101 individuals throughout the northeast Indiana region who are connectors -- people who act on their ability to visualize, create and influence change at every level of our regional community.
This project is a springboard for a region-wide discussion about leadership and an opportunity to discover new models of leadership within our own “backyard.”
Nominations were submitted to the Journal-Gazette and connector characteristics from the nominations were analyzed by IPFW.
IPFW, in partnership with Leadership Fort Wayne and the Journal Gazette, surveyed those identified for the purpose of understanding the personal, professional and leadership characteristics common among the individuals most responsible for our community’s success.
Connectors are trusted and accountable Individuals. Connectors have a strong network and are willing to connect with others and connect others to one another.
